I hope you don't think me a weird internet stalker...

I found this site by pulling the technorati trick. Let me tell you -- this entry brought tears to my eyes. Better yet, I called over the Chef (it's his day off -- he's making gluten-free meatloaf in the kitchen right now), and I read it to him. He had tears in his eyes.

It means the world to us both that you had such a great meal. And yes, that bread was a loaf I made, the day before, for the restaurant, just in case anyone gluten-free came in.

And by the way, after you talked with him, he ran outside and called to tell me that you had come in, and that made us both so happy.

Isn't this a wonderfully small world, thanks to the internet?

Please come in again. Let him know when you're coming in. I'll try to stop by and say hi too.

Yay for a great meal out! And bread. Is it GFG's take on the famous no-knead bread of 2006? He's right about the poached quail eggs. He's probably right about everything. Now get to whining.
