I’m African American and I’ve never heard that MOST AA are lactose intolerant. This is my first time reading your blog, so I’m guessing that this was a transracial aoption. Just wanted to drop you a note about that. I know that he % if higher in AA, but I don’t not believe it is the majority. I’s discuss with your dr.

I didn’t realize that people who are cow’s milk intolerant cannot take breastmilk without difficulty. I thought the little guy was doing well with your breastfeeding until you got sick and added formula. No matter. It has all been worked out.

And I wasn’t sure whether he had milia or neonatal acne. I should have realized that milia are less red. It will be gone soon.

Lactose intolerant, I thought that meant cow milk, not breastmilk.

I can just picture you sitting there, enjoying his new baby smell.

Very exciting to hear from you. Perhaps it’s not kosher–but we would all love to see baby pics in blogland!!! But, I understand if that seems invasive, etc. Anyway, congratulations!
